Joshua Tennent is a classically trained guitarist and composer who is currently based in Berlin. His music has naturally evolved to encompass electronic beats, noise, free Jazz, and Brazilian influences in poetic improvisational performances. His looping guitars and melodic riffs float on top of an immersive electronic soundscape which transports the listener into a profound depth of feeling. His musical influences range from Steve Reich, Miles Davis, minimal techno, Agustin Barrios, Baden Powell, and John Cage. Most recently, Joshua has created a body of work called ‚Visual Sounds‘ which is a collaboration with the artist Claudia De Grandi. Visual Sounds is an interdisciplinary performance that transcends the conventional perception of sound and colours.
